New inorganic-organic copolymers with adjustable mechanical properties
Abstract
The new generation of inorganic-organic copolymeres based on the described multifunctional (meth)acrylate alkoxysilanes results for example in bulk materials with the following properties, realized with the till now investigated variations: low shrinkage during curing (2-8 vol.-percent) adjustable modulus of elasticity (20-3600 MPa) high flexural strength (until 100 MPa) adjustable thermal expansion coefficient (70-180) 10exp(-6:1/K).
