An eigenvalue for the MCCs-matrix was established. Some numerical results, which are obtained by solving the eigenvalue problem iteratively, were discussed. Furthermore the transverse modal behavior of a CO2 laser was experimentally investigated. The theoretical and the experimental results show a principle agreement.
