Strength behaviour of adhesively shrink-bonded shaft-hub assemblies under combined rotating bending and torsional loading
Abstract
The strength behaviour of adhesively shrink-bonded shaft-hub assemblies has been investigated using steel specimens (42 CrMo 4) with a shaft diameter of 80 mm and 120 mm. Static and fatigue tests have been carried out to determine the influence of specimen design, stress ratio (mean stress sensitivity) on strength behaviour of shrink-bonded assemblies.
