Experimentelle Untersuchungen zum dynamischen Tragverhalten von Sonderfaserbeton - SIFCON
Abstract
SIFCON and fibre concretes with large amount of fibres were tested at dynamic loading. An remarkable increase in toughness and ductility were found. In comparison to plain concrete, fibre concrete exceedes an enhance in energy absorption of about 100 times. This factor is about 200 for SIFCON. There is also an increase in strength for SIFCON. The material behaviour of fibre concrete is primarily influenced by the fibre volume (Vsubf) and by the ratio of fibre length to fibre diameter (lsubf/dsubf). The relative effect of fibre volume is reduced for SIFCON; the fibre shape and the relationship of fibre length to fibre diameter dominate. As a result the concrete technology parameters and the effect of fibres on the material behaviour are well known. In economical view the application of SIFCON is of interest in shelter construction at extreme loading conditions. Furthermore SIFCON can be used for construction with difficult shape, in an area where until now other materials than concrete were used.
