Abstract
(A1) Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Lasermodul, umfassend eine flaechige Substratbasis (1) mit einem Montagebereich (A) und mit mindestens einem an den Montagebereich angrenzenden Waermeleitungsbereich (B), ein im Montagebereich angeordnetes Heizelement (2) und ein im Montagebereich angeordnetes Temperatursensorelement (5).

 

DE 102007039219 A1 UPAB: 20090317 NOVELTY - The module has a substrate base (1) with heat conducting regions (B1, B2) adjacent to an assembling region (A) in which a laser e.g. semiconductor laser, is arranged. Thermal resistance elements (4a, 4b) are formed in the regions (B1, B2) over cuts (E1, E2). The base is made of diamond, silicon carbide, aluminum nitride, indium phosphide, silicon or sapphire. Laser wavelength is spectrally tunable by temperature modulation adjustable based on a laser beam injected into an active layer of the laser with a speed of greater than 1000 kilometers/second and a stroke of greater than 100 kilometers. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for operating a laser module. USE - Spectrally tunable laser module for use in an area of spectroscopic measurement process and an area of analysis of gas, liquid and/or surface, and/or for a trace gas analysis (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The laser wavelength is spectrally tunable by the temperature modulation that is adjustable based on the laser beam injected into the active layer of the lasers with the speed of greater than 1000 kilometers/second and the stroke of greater than 100 kilometers, so that a tuning range of the laser of the laser module can be increased, and the tuning of the laser can be controlled in a rapid and precise manner to achieve a high homogeneity in a region to be tuned.
