Abstract
Technology Roadmaps bring a technology-point-of-view into strategic planning and therefore help using the right technology at the right time. They are used to prepare technologies for future products. By combining market-pull and technology-push points of view they offer an increased ability to respond to market changes. Corporate Technology Roadmaps visualize measures and activities necessary to develop technological capabilities for future products, support internal communication between product development and shop floor and can be adapted to fulfil specific requirements of a company.
