Abstract
(A1) Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Spektroskopievorrichtung mit einem primaeren Laser, mit dem ein Single-Mode-Lasersignal erzeugbar ist, und mit einem sekundaeren Laser, in dessen Resonator ein zu untersuchendes Medium einbringbar ist, wobei das Single-Mode-Lasersignal des primaeren Lasers in den sekundaeren Laser eingekoppelt wird, derart, dass die Frequenzen des Single-Mode-Lasersignals des primaeren Lasers und eines durch dieses Lasersignal des sekundaeren Lasers uebereinstimmen, wobei eine Wellenlaenge des Lasersignals des sekundaeren Lasers ueber das Single-Mode-Lasersignal des primaeren Lasers steuerbar und ueber das Lasersignal des sekundaeren Lasers eine Absorptionslinie des zu untersuchenden Mediums messbar ist.
DE 102007009560 A1 UPAB: 20080930 NOVELTY - The device has a primary laser (1) e.g. external cavity diode laser, producing a single mode laser signal, and a secondary laser (4) with a ring resonator in which a medium to be examined is placed. The laser signal is coupled into the secondary laser such that frequencies, phases and polarizations of the single mode laser signal complies with that of laser signals of the secondary laser. A wavelength of the laser signals of the secondary laser is controllable by the single mode laser signal, and an absorption line of the medium is measured by the laser signals of the secondary laser. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a spectroscopy method, comprising a step of arranging a medium to be examined in a resonator of a secondary laser. USE - Spectroscopy device for determining a low analyte concentration and for high sensitive measurement of trace concentration or material-specific determination of trace concentration. ADVANTAGE - The spectroscopy device is designed such that a single mode intracavity spectroscopy is facilitated, so that a reliable concentration measurement with very less analyte concentrations is enabled, thus increasing the sensitivity of the device without the need for additional spectrometers and/or spectral analysis of the output signal, and hence providing a portable, compact, and highly sensitive device for determining the trace concentrations.
