Abstract
(B3) Vorgestellt wird eine Vorrichtung zur photoakustischen Detektion mit einem zylindrischen akustischen Resonator, in dem Mittel vorhanden sind, das Anregungslicht derart zu leiten, dass die durch Absorption des Anregungslichts anregbare Schallwelle die zweite azimutale Resonanz der Zylinderschwingung ist.

 

DE 102007014517 B3 UPAB: 20080920 NOVELTY - The device has a cylindrical acoustic resonator (1) in which mirrors (3a-3d) are provided. An excitation light is guided in the resonator, perpendicular to a cylinder axis in such a manner that by absorption of the excitation light an azimuthal resonance of cylinder vibration is excitable. The mirrors are provided as a guiding unit for guidance of the excitation light. The mirrors are arranged in opposing groups of two mirrors in a cylinder such that the excitation light is guided through a region of a central axis of the cylinder. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for photo-acoustic detection. USE - Device i.e. cylindrical photo-acoustic multipass detector, for photo-acoustic detection. ADVANTAGE - The device makes photo-acoustic measurements in a simple manner and at high measuring sensitivity.
