Abstract
WO 2008043491 A2 UPAB: 20080513 NOVELTY - The device has multiple lens systems, arranged with parallel optical axes, where the lens systems are partly non identical. The lens systems have same numerical aperture in one direction, parallel to a main level of the lens systems. The non-identical lens system has the similar numerical apertures in a direction, perpendicular to the former direction. Focal lengths (9a to 9d) and a dimension and a radius of curvature and a free diameter and a vertex position of the lens systems, are determined by a function, which is dependent on the position of the lens system in the lens arrangement. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for homogenizing radiation. USE - Device for homogenizing radiation, preferably light, with the help of chirped micro lens arrays (Claimed). ADVANTAGE - The device has multiple lens systems, arranged with parallel optical axes, where the lens systems are partly non identical. The lens systems have same numerical aperture in one direction, parallel to a main level of the lens systems, thus ensures a radiation, independent of the even input intensity distribution and avoids the overlapping.
