Planning tool for the pipe-production and assembly
Abstract

Into many shipyards planing systems are used, which illustrate however only a small part of the functionality of a production control system and permit no detailed planning of individual production areas. In order to come to a short machining time, is a high level of pre outfitting necessary. In addition that the outfitting is to be planned in a early state of stellworks. This maybe achieved by the development of a simulation-supported control system wich includes the resources of manufacturing and mounting of pipes. Here in the linkage of the planing and controling systems of the hull manufacturing and equipment components plays a substantial role for the planning and controlling. Thus are among other things a foresighted planning and coordination of the different trades as well as a determination of the optimal prefabrication degree for tubes possible. This lecture describes the boundary conditions and application type of a simulation-supported manufacturing control for the pipe-production and assembly.
