Titel
Weiterbildung im Maschinen- und Anlagenbau mittels Mixed-Reality-in-the-Loop Simulation
Alternative
On-the-job-training in mechanical and plant engineering through Mixed-Reality-in-the-Loop Simulation
Abstract

The growing digital pervasion of the working world is associated with diverse changes for on-the-job-training. The use of modern visualization methods of Mixed Reality in addition to the digital twin of the production plant creates new forms of knowledge transfer that are associated with specific opportunities and challenges, especially for mechanical and plant engineering. In this context, the following article will first take a look at the training practices currently used in me-chanical and plant engineering and reflect on them from a didactic perspective. The significance of mixed reality technologies will then be demonstrated as part of the MRiLS research project. Finally, potentials will be derived and differentiated in terms of didactic and learning theory.
