Titel
Human exposure to organic pollutants during and after renovation work
Abstract
Field measurements were performed to estimate the human exposure to VOCs and formaldehyde during and after renovation work. Different wallcovering materials like wallpaper, paint an lacquer were applied. Each renovation phase lasted one day and the time vs. concentration curves were monitored up to three weeks by use of different analytical techniques. Air exchange rate, temperature and relative humidity were also continuously measured. The VOC pattern and concentration levels were dependent on the applied material.
