Titel
Reactive power management of distributed generators for selective voltage optimization in 110-kV-subtransmission grids
Abstract
The rising number of decentralized energy generation in subtransmission and distribution grids leads to new challenges in the contribution of ancillary services. The research project SysDL 2.0 investigates the capability and usability of distributed generators in providing reactive power for typical use cases. The goal of this project is to meet all grid-operating constraints for these use cases not only theoretically but also during a field test. The field test will be performed in different German 110-kV-subtransmission grids. To this end an appropriate optimization algorithm is needed. The paper illustrates the selection and comparison of different approaches and the development of a selective voltage optimization.
