In this work, the design, fabrication and experimental verification of a series feeding network based on metamaterial technology is introduced. The feeding network design concept introduced here for the first time is composed by metamaterial-based coupled-line couplers as power dividers, and by metamaterial-based phase-shifters as phase compensation-lines. A demonstrator for this series feeding network with five output-ports, low losses, 20% fractional bandwidth @ 10 GHz and low coupling between output-ports is developed and experimentally verified.
