Abstract
A review. The wear protection improvement potential of steel substrates by carbide reinforced hard alloy (NiBSi, CoCrMo) bonded coatings is studied performed by cladding techniques and using ((Ti,Mo)C-NiCo, (Ti,Mo)(C,N)-Co) hybrid composite powders with core-shell structure. Crack-free, fine dispersed hard material contg., and metallurgical to the substrate bonded coatings of 0.2-2 mm thickness with retained core-shell structure could be obtained by both techniques showing 550-820 HV0,3.
