The detection of moving targets using a passive radar is a topic of current research. Although in simulations the feasibility of STAP for passive radar on moving receivers was proven, the evaluation of real data acquired with a moving passive radar has received little attention so far. In this paper we describe a measurement campaign recently conducted by Fraunhofer FHR using a passive radar system mounted on a van using a DVB-T transmitter as illuminator. We also present the first results of applying STAP on the acquired data.
