Abstract
The intention of this dissertation was to examine whether ANSYS is suitable for computations of coating substrate systems and to await the pros and cons compared to other Programs. After an introduction of theoretical basics of coating - substrate systems and the finite element method, several elastic and elastic plastic Finite Element models are accurately described. Furthermore, these models were computed with ANSYS. Last the results were compared and evaluated with other numeric and analytic programs.
