Abstract
Precise laser processing of fiber reinforced plastics allows to improve durability and strength of light weight components. Coatings show increased adhesion strength as well as bonded mixed material joints after laser pretreatment of the relevant surfaces. Volume ablation enables the Integration of sensors into fiber reinforced components.
