Spectra of highly-filled composite polymer samples were measured in the near infrared spectral range with a Fourier transform spectrometer. The diffuse reflectance of the samples was measured. Samples of different composition were examined and the aging behaviour was characterized by evaluation of the spectra. Spectral differences were worked out using principal component analysis (PCA) and correlated with material parameters where possible.
