Meeting the increasing demand of sensor integration in automotive sector decentralized energy storage systems can be advantageous regarding assembly time as well as crash security and repair cost. An ideal and space saving integration of decentralized energy storage system can often not be realized with commercial standard cell formats. For the realization of free form factors different application methods are promising. The basic concepts and an excerpt of important process parameters for screen printed energy storage and dispensed energy storage components are shown and evaluated.
