Titel
Condition - Monitoring - System für die Strukturüberwachung
Abstract

Condition Monitoring Systems (CMS) are used for continuous structural health monitoring. They help to ensure the reliable and durable functioning of the structure observed. The CMS is exposed to the same environmental conditions at the place of installation as the structure itself. Hence, equal requirements for its reliable and durable functioning apply as for the structure. Moreover, procedural and measurement technological needs are to meet. This article describes these requirements and how they are complied with by a CMS, which is developed as a Match-X based ultrasonic measurement system by the Fraunhofer Institute for Non-Destructive Testing, Dresden branch (IZFP-D).
