Abstract
In the past, many methodical scientific activities on parallel kinematic machines found results that could be generalised for conventional machine concepts as well. For this reason the parallel kinematic machines are predestined for academic tasks. Therefore an experimental machine named "Black beetle" for milling processes that is close to reality was developed and realised in cooperation between the Fraunhofer IWU and the HTWK Leipzig. In a first application an algorithm for path generation for the "Black beetle" is presented which consequently integrates the non-linearity of the dynamic limits of parallel kinematic machines.
