Numerical algorithms for fluid interaction with a thin porous structure
Abstract
In this work we develop and validate an efficient numerical framework for the complex multyphysical problem of fluid interacting with a thin poroelastic structure in the context of filtration processes. The efficiency of the framework is achieved by using advanced modeling and numerical simulation techniques. The validity of the framework is demonstrated by comparison with analytical and numerical solutions as well as with physical experiments.
