This paper describes an approach to locally modify the emissionof an organic light-emitting diode (OLED) by using a focusedelectron beam. It is possible to fabricate OLEDs with highthroughput and leave them unpatterned (e.g., for signageapplications), before the emission becomes individually modifiedby an electron beam process.
