Abstract
Verfahren zum Trennen von Flachglas durch thermisches Anritzen mittels eines Laserstrahls und anschliessendes Kuehlen der so erzeugten Erwaermungslinie, wobei die Waermeeinbringung fuer das thermische Anritzen durch repetierendes vielfaches Bestreichen der Glasoberflaeche mit dem Laserstrahl erfolgt.

 

WO2005092806 A UPAB: 20051027 NOVELTY - Process for separation of plane glass by thermal cleavage by means of a laser beam traversed along a separation line at a selected rate followed by cooling of the heated line thus generated where the heat is introduced by repeated passage of the laser beam over the glass surface, and after thermal cleavage the glass is broken. USE - The process is useful for the high accuracy breakage of very thick glass plates, e.g. float glass plates of thickness up to 20 mm. ADVANTAGE - The process enables separation of glass plates of thickness up to 20 mm in the case of float glass to be achieved with high accuracy and speed, i.e. greater than 1 m/minute, even with curved cuts.
