Internet of Things systems rely on the principles for service deployment and configuration based on delivery models. The predominant service delivery model for the Internet of Things architecture is a novel approach to create a global IoT system for Internet Connected Objects. While the service control loop has already been proposed (autonomics), the dynamic deployment of the different modules of an IoT system is still due. In this paper an approach for IoT service delivery model using autonomic management principles, which can deploy and configure IoT services is presented. The use of an implemented framework that helps administrator/user to deploy IoT platform(s) with autonomic methods has been developed. Particularly and as proof of concept example an open source platform ( is used to demonstrate service instantiation. The agent-based framework analyses the requirements, dependencies and resolves them following autonomic design principles and also, by design, it deploys the IoT service delivery model into desired platform(s) running in the cloud or into a local machine.
