Abstract
The method involves providing a linear equations system (110) based on parameterized description of subtasks of a task, parameterized description of a predefined processor architecture and boundary conditions. Allocation of the subtasks to a computing unit of the predefined processor architecture is determined (120) based on the linear system of equations, so that the boundary conditions are fulfilled. The linear equations system is determined by a coefficient matrix, a resultant vector and a boundary condition vector, where the linear equations system comprises an equation.; Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for allocating a number of subtasks from a task to a number of computing units in a predefined processor architecture (2) a computer program comprising a program code to perform a method for allocating a number of subtasks from a task to a number of computing units in a predefined processor architecture.
