Abstract
The method comprises deflecting two laser beams (1, 2) with differing wavelengths operated in continuous wave mode by a relative movement of the laser beams and a workpiece along a contour cutting (6), and addressing the laser beams with an optical element (4) focused on the surface to be processed. The laser beams are operated alternately. The separation is conducted under release of a cutting gas. The two laser beams with a beam deflection system (3) are deflected in two dimensions. The position of the focal plane of the optic element is adjusted according to the material erosion. The laser beams are operated at a wavelength of greater than 800 nm. The two or more laser beams are directed simultaneously on the workpiece surface, where the focal spots cover the largely focusing part. The laser beams are directed on the workpiece surface so that the surfaces of the focal spots are in same size and/or focal points extend perpendicular to the feed point at an axis direction, where the trained section joint is less than or equal to the saw cut. One laser beam is directed on a reflective surface of a moving element in one position of the element of the reflective surface of the workpiece to be machined, and other laser beam is directed from the opposite side of the moving element in other position of the element in a through hole formed on the surface of the workpiece to be machined. The laser beams are directed from different directions at one point of a reflective surface of an element and reflected in such a way that they strike with the same optical axis A on the surface of the workpiece to be machined. The two laser beams are deflected and/or formed in the optical path in which both optical axes lie on the same axial direction, only with the reflective and/or focusing optical element.
