Titel
Use of synergies for the reverse logistics and take back network planning of end-of-live vehicles - future scenario
Abstract
The disposal of end-of-life vehicles (ELV) will soon undergo a fundamental change. The impacts on the environment are hard to assess, especially with regard to light-density automotive shredder residues (ASR), which are at present almost exclusively disposed of on landfills. Reverse logistics is necessary to efficiently close the product life cycles in car recycling. The disposal infrastructure in car recycling has quickly developed over the past years. In this paper the methodologies to plan efficient "Take Back Networks" will be described. Product clusters will be assigned to the "Reverse Logistics Networks".
