Abstract
Measurements were done of different metal oxide particles with a Raman spectrometer system. The Raman spectrometer (Kaiseroptical Systems RXN1) is equipped with a 785 nm laser. The aim was to measure different materials relevant for solid state reaction of Fe2O3/Ti system. Spectra were measured in the wave number range from 100 cm-1 to 3200 cm-1. Laser power was applied between 10mW and 100mW with varying integration times. Figure 1 shows the Raman spectrum of such a reaction together with spectra of starting materials.
