Titel
Top-down design of a mechatronic system
Abstract
Changing the direction of the design flow process from a bottom-up to a top-down methodology promises many advantages. Nevertheless the design flow scheme of mechatronic systems is typically bottom-up. The aim of this paper is to demonstrate a possible starting point for a top-down design flow scheme, namely the systemlevel modeling and validation of a given specification, the further partitioning of this model and the verification of the top-level model through simulations. To illustrate the practicability of the presented approach for this application field, the example of a camera winder system is used which comprises mechanical and electronical components.
