Titel
Directing learner interaction for efficient combination of building blocks in an interactive laboratory
Abstract
Webble technology enables users to rapidly develop advanced machinery. Therefore users without any programming skills can create complex compositions of objects. In the setting mentioned in this paper, these novice users are able to experience and learn how to construct a solar-powered bike with an ease incomparable to many other tools. This paper focuses on user support for different levels of experience of users. Because it is a grave task to get the right balance between user freedom and support without hindering the learner from exploring the environment, we introduced three different scenarios in this paper. These scenarios can apply to all different kinds of laboratories based on the Webble technology because of its flexibility.
