In the last few years graphene became a very important material by reason of its unique properties such as tremendous thermal conductivity, great mechanical resistance and excellent electronic features. Due to these, graphene is in demand for many applications and therefore it is necessary to produce it with high-yield and in environmentally friendly manner.
This poster deals with the production of graphene through electrochemical exfoliation using different ionic liquids. The resulting material is to be evaluated in consideration of quality in regard to application as electrode material for supercapacitors.
