Abstract
The protection of important building structures against terrorist attacks is an urgent theme, particularly since the attack on the World Trade Center in New York on the 11 September 2001. For the concept of a safe high-rise building under aircraft impact, UHPC as a building material combines the necessary properties of very high strength, fire resistance and energy dissipation in an ideal way. For the calculation and sizing of structural and protective elements, a scientific basis has been developed and validated in this work through the performance of experiments and the material model derived from them.
