Abstract
Studying the combustion of droplets as in a spray by parameter variation, fast tools are necessary because of the large number of parameters. Therefore new codes will be developed with high performance but reduced complexity. First step is a code to simulate the burning of one droplet in one dimension to test the reliability of the model assumptions. Next step is to implement the model in a three dimensional code for several droplets.
