Titel
Load-adapted design of generative manufactured lattice structures
Abstract
Additive layer manufacturing offers many opportunities for the production of lightweight components, because of the high geometrical freedom that can be realized in comparison to conventional manufacturing processes. This potential gets demonstrated at the example of a bending beam. Therefore, a topology optimization is performed as well as the use of periodically arranged lattice structures. The latter ones show the constraint, that shear forces in the struts reduce the stiffness of the lattice. To avoid this, the structure has to be adapted to the flux of force. This thesis is supported by studies on a torque-loaded shaft.
