New high temperature displacement sensor
Abstract
To satisfy the special requirement at a temperature up to 550°C, a new temperature compensation technique is presented by using the new construction. Experiments show that the temperature compensation technique presented leads to a good temperature stability of sensor. In comparison with the normal construction of a sensor using the same high temperature materials, the compensation effect of the new construction is obvious. The variation of sensitivity of the sensor is only 5.2% at 500°C in comparison with that at 20°C.
