Abstract
(A1) Die Erfindung betrifft einen Dichtungsartikel fuer dynamische Belastungen, umfassend ein Substrat, bestehend wenigstens teilweise aus einem Elastomer und/oder einem Polymer, und eine darauf angeordnete gegenueber dem Elastomer und/oder Polymer abrasionsstabilere Beschichtung, wobei das Substrat im Dichtungsbereich des Dichtungsartikels wenigstens teilweise durch Erhoehungen strukturiert ist und die Beschichtung die Konturen der Strukturierung nachbildet.

The substrate is structured within a sealing region of the item partly by elevations (9), where the coating reproduces outlines of the structuring. The distance of elevation maxima of the structuring to each other is in the range of 50-250 micrometer. The elevations are in the form of an equal-legged or unequal- legged triangle or a trapezoid with rounded off corners. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for producing a sealing item. USE - Dynamically loaded sealing item i.e. rotary shaft seal, for sealing of moving machine parts. ADVANTAGE - The substrate is structured within the sealing region of the item partly by the elevations, where the coating reproduces outlines of the structuring, so that the abrasion effect of the item is reduced.
