Abstract
(A1) Ein Strahlformer (100) gemaess einem Ausfuehrungsbeispiel der vorliegenden Erfindung fuer eine Lichtquellenanordnung zur Erzeugung eines Abstrahlprofils umfasst eine Vielzahl von benachbart angeordneten optischen Strahlformungselementen (110), die jeweils einen Typ einer Mehrzahl unterschiedlicher Typen mit unterschiedlichen optischen Eigenschaften angehoeren. Die Strahlformungselemente (100) bewirken bei gemeinsamer Beleuchtung das Abstrahlprofil des Strahlformers (100) und weisen jeweils ein intensitaetsmodulierendes Element (120) und ein refraktives Element (130) auf.

 

WO 2010112596 A1 UPAB: 20101027 NOVELTY - The shaper (100) has a set of optical beam shaping elements (110-1-110-3) arranged adjacent to each other, where each shaping element belongs to different types having different optical characteristics. The beam shaping elements causes a radiation profile of the shaper, when the beam shaping elements are jointly illuminated. Each beam shaping element includes refractive elements (130-1-130-3) and intensity modulating elements (120-1-120-3) provided with a reflective or absorbing layer. An air gap is formed between a light source and the intensity modulating elements. USE - Beam shaper for use in a flat light source i.e. organic LED (claimed), for producing a radiation profile in a region of illumination region and projective display. Can also be used for an inorganic LED i.e. semiconductor LED. ADVANTAGE - The shaper exhibits compact structure, generates complex radiation characteristics, enables recycling of the light during reducing an interfering light, and improves quality of the radiation profile. The optical beam shaping elements are arranged adjacent to each other, such that installation space is utilized in an efficient manner.
