3D cameras and projectors, theory and practice
Abstract
Offers practical instructions for optimal projected stereoscopic images for every type of stereoscopic photograph and projection procedure. It is further shown that practically every projector type may be used with the help of projection through nearby lenses for the projection of parallax panoramagrams onto lenticular screens; the expensive special constructions used so far are thereby rendered unnecessary and the use of video projectors is possible for the first time. In the last part, the video photo camera and projector units, as well as raster screens as used by the author in a research project of the Heinrich-Hertz-Institute, are introduced.
