Abstract
DE 102009015794 B3 UPAB: 20100802 NOVELTY - The element (1) has a laminar electrically conducting partial element (1.1) that is in touching-contact with an anode (2), and another laminar electrically conducting partial element (1.2) that is in touching-contact with an interconnector (3) i.e. bipolar plate. Through-holes are formed in the partial elements, where the partial elements are formed from materials with thermal expansion coefficients that are different from each other. The partial elements are designed as flexibly ductile, perforated foils and made of nickel, copper, iron and cobalt. USE - Contact element for an electrically conducting connection between an anode and an interconnector i.e. bipolar plate, of a high temperature fuel cell. ADVANTAGE - The through-holes are formed in the partial elements, where the partial elements are formed from the materials with the thermal expansion coefficients that are different from each other, so that the contact element is deformed during cooling at operating temperature of the high temperature fuel cell while areas at the anode and areas at the interconnector are pressed by the deformation, thus improving electrical contact, and hence achieving reliable long-term-stable electrically conducting connection between the anode and the interconnector of the high temperature fuel cell.
