Abstract
Various combinations of laser cavity resonators, including grooved or cleaved coupled cavities as well as the laterally coupled cavity are described. The problem of spectral selective resonators, and the substitution of mirrors by a Bragg reflector produced by electron beam lithography for mode discrimination are considered. The author's review includes consideration of the injection locking laser with master and slave cavities, spectral tuning and modulation methods.
