Abstract
(A1) Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zum Inaktiveren einer mikrobiologisch kontaminierten und Feststoffpartikel enthaltenden Masse mittels beschleunigter Elektronen, wobei die Feststoffpartikel enthaltende Masse zuerst mit einem Geliermittel vermischt wird; anschliessend die mit Geliermittel vermischte Feststoffpartikel enthaltende Masse durch formgebende Mittel transportiert wird, in denen die Masse zumindest in einem Bereich zu einem schichtfoermigen Volumen mit einer Schichtdicke von 1 bis 3 mm geformt wird und abschliessend die mit Geliermittel vermischte Feststoffpartikel enthaltende Masse im schichtfoermigen Volumenbereich mit beschleunigten Elektronen beaufschlagt wird.

The solid particles are crushed to a particle size of 0.2-0.6 mm before adding the gelling agent. The mass is pumped, sucked or pressed by the molding unit. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The method comprises premixing the mass containing solid particles with a gelling agent and a liquid, transporting the premixed mass through a molding unit, in which the mass is formed in an area to a layered volume with a layer thickness of 1-3 mm, and impinging the mass in the layered volume area from two sides with accelerated electrons by using electron beam generators (17, 18) that are arranged opposite to each other. The solid particles are crushed to a particle size of 0.2-0.6 mm before adding the gelling agent. The mass is pumped, sucked or pressed by the molding unit. The output parameter of the electron beam generator is adjusted, so that the electron energy applied on the mass has a maximum in the average layer thickness of the volume. The mass is drawn from the liquid after impinging with the accelerated electrons. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a device for inactivating a microbiologically contaminated mass containing solid particles using accelerated electrons. USE - Method for inactivating microbiologically contaminated mass containing solid particles using accelerated electrons, where the microbiologically contaminated mass products or wastes are generated in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry, in the case of animal experiments, during waste and wastewater treatment, during animal waste disposal and in the animal production in the form of manure, the microbiological contaminants are in the form of viruses, bacteria, micro-fungi and/or prion and the waste products or mass are bone, cartilage and eggs scarves. ADVANTAGE - The method is capable of economically and efficiently inactivating the microbiologically contaminated mass thus effectively eliminating the microbiological contaminants such as microorganisms or germs in the mass or product.
