Abstract
(A1) Die Erfindung betrifft eine Mikrokapsel, ein Mikrokapseln umfassendes System sowie ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung, wobei die Mikrokapsel (11) einen Kern (12) umfasst, der durch eine Umhuellung (14) eingekapselt ist und in dem zumindest ein Partikel (16) mit einer Bewegungs- und Indikationskomponente (17, 18) vorgesehen ist, wobei die Substanz des Kerns (12) durch einen Energieeintrag aus einem festen oder niederviskosen Zustand in einen hoeherviskosen Zustand zumindest kurzzeitig ueberfuehrbar ist, das zumindest eine Partikel (16) in seiner Lage und/oder Orientierung waehrend dem hoeherviskosen Zustand der Substanz des Kerns (12) durch einen Energieeintrag veraenderbar ist und die Substanz des Kerns (12) nach dem Energieeintrag in den festen oder niederviskosen Zustand zurueckkehrt und dadurch das zumindest eine Partikel (16) in seiner neuen Lage und/oder Orientierung fixiert ist.

The substance of the core is transferred in short-time from a solid or low-viscosity state into a high-viscosity state by substance activation energy. The particle is changed in terms of its position and/or orientation during the high-viscosity state of the substance of the core by a particle activation energy, which is produced by an electric, magnetic or electromagnetic field. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The microcapsule (11) comprises a core (12) encapsulated by an envelope, where a particle (16) is provided with a movement- (17) and indication component (18) in a substance forming the core. The substance of the core is transferred in short-time from a solid or low-viscosity state into a high-viscosity state by substance activation energy. The particle is changed in terms of its position and/or orientation during the high-viscosity state of the substance of the core by a particle activation energy, which is produced by an electric, magnetic or electromagnetic field. The substance of the core reverses back to the solid- or low-viscosity state after the energy input and the particle is fixed in its new position and/or orientation. The substance activation energy is produced by thermal radiation or electromagnetic radiation. The particle is activatable by first particle activation energy and a further particle is changeable in terms of its position and/or orientation by a second particle activation energy deviated from the first particle activation energy. An electric or magnetic charge is provided as movement component for the particle. The indication component for the particle comprises an optical, reflective, absorptive or physical function. The particle is magnetizably formed or is made of material receiving the charge, and is formed as a photonic crystal. The microcapsule is provided with a substance, whose viscosity change takes place from the solid or low-viscosity state into the high-viscosity state at a deviated energy level as the substance in a further microcapsule. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) a system; (2) a method for changing the state of microcapsule of a system; and (3) a device for affecting a microcapsule in a system. USE - Microcapsule useful in a system (claimed) in automobile parts or car body parts, in paper-like display or electrical papers, and in LCD or organic light-emitting diode screens, touch panels or solar cells. ADVANTAGE - The microcapsule is flexible and versatile, and causes a noticeable color change.
