Statistical Analysis of High Resolution spatially correlated Land Clutter at Millimeterwave Frequencies
Abstract
The analysis of the reflectivity values of polarimetric ground clutter has shown that for many clutter types there is a considerable amount of spatial correlation depending on the type of clutter. In particular we consider two-dimensional (m1,m2)-dependent processes. This raises the question, which consequences these dependences have for the estimation of parameters. Therefore, a central limit theorem for (m1,m2)-dependent processes is necessary. The central limit theorem for the means of (m1,m2)-dependent processes provides a probability density function with which the histogram of several sample means can be compared.
