Title

Development of analytical methods for the assessment of ecotoxicological relevant soil contamination. Part A. Development und improvement of soils extraction methods for the determination of the bioavailable parts of contaminants

Title Supplement
Dedicated to Prof. Werner Klein on the occasion of his 60th birthday
Abstract
A risk assessment for soils should be based on the total content of pollutants and their mobile and bioavailable fractions. Therefore extraction solutions for soils were tested, containing e.g. organic acids, tensides and humic acids. Atrazine, pyrene and PCB 52 were used as test substances. Besides the comparison of different extraction solutions clean up steps were tested and their influence on the measured concentrations of the pollutants in the extracts elucidated.
