Abstract
Guided ultrasonic waves can detect corrosion in bottom plates of tanks and are capable to inspect latge areas. Couplant free EMUS probes allow an inspection without careful cleaning of the surface. Probes and ultrasonic tenchique have a big potential for a faster and cheaper inspection.
