Titel
Decentralised Equipment and Process Responsability for a human-centred CBM
Abstract
The organisation concept of Decentralised Equipment and Process Responsability (DEPR), developed at the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation (IPA) in Stuttgart, Germany, creates the basic organisational conditions for greater integration of the machine operator in order to assure higher equipment availability. It allows temporarily available production personnel to be used in condition-based maintenance. DEPR is based on a holistic approach in which indirect company areas such as maintenance are aligned with the value creation chain. Decentralised maintenance teams - or those integrated in production - bridge the traditional communication gaps between production and the rest of the central maintenance department.
