Data acquisition and evaluation with f-processor controlled automatic ultrasonic testing systems.

Ultrasonic inspection is one of the most promising nondestructive testing methods applied during manufacturing, preservice and in-service inspection of components like pipes, vessels of steel plates. Starting freom manual inspection the research and developments of the last years resulted in modern implemented signal processing algorithms. In the following different data acquision procedures, their data handling and processing into images are described.
