Abstract
The solution of the coating design problem was obtained with a conventional multilayer system of 8 layers: 7 alternating TiO2/Ai2O3-layers beginning on the substrate and one layer of MgF2, as the putermost layer. The Merit-function is 0.00409 and even the s-polarization of reflection at 30 is smaller than 1 per cent within the spectral range from 400 to 900 nm. The final system is based on start-system of 5/4-layers, which was modificated step by step for getting the necessary spectral bandwidth under the conditions of the given refractive indices, the refractive index dispersion, and the oblique indice of light.
